This site is dedicated to the production of oral healthcare brands such as Aquafresh, Sensodyne and MacLean’s, producing in excess of 400 hundred million tubes of toothpaste and 18 million bottles of mouthwash per year. It runs 24/7 to supply toothpaste, mouthwash and creams to over 20 countries worldwide. The key processes used at the site involve raw material transfer (powders and liquids)/ mixing (shear thinning principles)/ product pumping and distribution and packaging.The Role:As a Laboratory Analyst you will carry out the following duties:- Carry out laboratory analysis and associated tasks as required to support the laboratory team in order to provide an effective analytical service- Practice Good Manufacturing Practice and compliance with EHS regulations within the laboratory, ensuring these standards are maintained at all times- Maintain effective working relationships with section, customers and suppliers, and actively contribute to improvement initiatives within the laboratory group, and cross-functional teams- Develop technical skills and knowledge in order to support the laboratory team- Accurately record and check analytical data in compliance with local and company regulations- Generate and maintain own training records in order to show, analytical and procedural competence- Be involved in projects to support technical functions- Book in samples- Collecting deliveries- Ensure equipment is clean and sterile- Carry out routine lab checks- Prepare buffersYour Background:To be considered for this role, you should have the following skills, knowledge or experience: – Relevant degree- Able to work in a team with flexible approach – Good communication skills – Good planning and organising skills – Report writing experience Please note that your CV should show exact dates of employment (month and year) and any gaps of a month or more should be explained.CK Group is an Equal Opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all who meet our selection criteria.If you do not hear back from us within 5 working days of your application for this role, it means that on this occasion you have not been shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment campaign.
